Are Forceval® Capsules suitable for vegetarians / vegans?

Forceval® Capsules are not suitable for vegetarians/vegans as the capsules contain gelatin that is derived from animals. The gelatin is derived from bovine sources.

What is the carbohydrate content of Forceval® Capsules?

Each capsule contains 154mg of carbohydrate.

How many retinol equivalents are there in Forceval® Capsules?

There are 2500 International Units (IU) of Vitamin A in Forceval® Capsules which is equivalent to 4.5mg beta-carotene or 750mcg retinol equivalents.

How many micrograms of Vitamin D2 are there in Forceval® Capsules?

There are 400 International Units (IUs) of Vitamin D2 in Forceval® Capsules which is equivalent to 10mcg.

What is the ideal volume for dissolving the Forceval® soluble tablet?

The ideal recommended volume for dissolution is 125-200ml of water. The tablet will dissolve completely at lower volumes though may take a little longer and may require some stirring/swirling. Please also note that lowering the volume of reconstitution may impact on product palatability and taste (as the product contains a wide range of vitamins, minerals and trace elements).

The resulting solution appears to be a bit cloudy, Is this normal?

Forceval® contains a wide range of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Some of these are water soluble and some are fat-soluble which means that when dissolved in water will create a solution that is slightly cloudy. This is perfectly normal.

Can Forceval® soluble be used with thickening agents?

Can Forceval® soluble be dissolved with other drinks such as cola etc.?

Because of the variety of drinks / colas available there is no study that we have undertaken which can allow us to make this recommendation.

What are the sodium and potassium levels within Forceval® soluble?

Each Forceval® Soluble Adult tablet contains 92mg of sodium and 300mg of potassium. Each Forceval® Soluble Junior tablet contains 108mg of sodium and 300mg of Potassium.

What is the calorific value of Forceval® soluble?

Each Forceval® Soluble Adult tablet contains 7.9 Kcal / 33.1 KJ of energy. Each Forceval® Soluble Junior tablet contains 8.5 Kcal / 35.67 KJ of energy.

My urine has changed colour. Is this normal?

Forceval® Soluble contains Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) which is a water-soluble vitamin and any amount that is not required by the body is excreted in the urine. This may result in bright yellow discolouration of your urine.
